The act of traveling from one place to another

Cyclone Yasi

Yard cleared, hatches battened and windows taped in the wait of Cyclone Yasi. The worst bit is waiting through the (eerie) calm before the storm. As morning approached and the cyclone passed, our house remained undamaged. There were many trees that had fallen down blocking the road, as well as a street lamp that had bent right over touching the ground. Candle light and a gas camp stove kept us going through the 24 hours of no power. Throughout the day the rain and storms continued with the potential of a high storm serge expected.
